Chocolate Banana Lollies
Now for me ice lollies are a must in this hot weather, perfect what ever the time of day!
Especially when these beauties are homemade and jam-packed full of good ingredients.
Makes 4 lollies
½ cup milk (almond/whole milk/coconut)
3 tbsp. Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
3 tbsp. raw cacao powder
2 tsp. sweetener (honey/maple syrup)
2 tbsp. roasted hazelnuts (blended into pieces)
pinch of salt
Place the bananas and milk into a blender, whizz till smooth.
Add the mixture to lolly moulds and insert the wooden sticks.
Let them set in the freezer overnight.
For the chocolate coating:
Melt all the ingredients together.
To avoid burning melt ingredients in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water on a hob.
Once mixed together, take lollies from the freezer and remove from the moulds.
Dip the lollies in the melted chocolate and transfer to a tray lined with baking paper.
Hazelnuts can be substituted for different nuts or try with swapping the banana for mango or berries for other fruity flavours!
